Ready to turn fabric into something truly special? In this creative, beginner-friendly class, we’ll be making the Collage Top by Matchy Matchy Sewing Club, a relaxed, modern garment that celebrates colour, texture, and individuality.
While this project is perfect for using up your favourite scraps, your top can also be made with yardage if you prefer a more cohesive or planned look. Whether you go scrappy or curated, no two tops will ever be the same!
Throughout the class, we’ll cover:

Finishing seams and adding those polished final touches
The Collage Top is designed with an easy, loose fit, making it approachable for confident beginners while still inspiring for more experienced sewists looking to try something fresh.

Previous experience sewing is helpful but we are here to help! Great class for beginners!
Registered students are eligible for a 15% discount on class supply items purchased in the store for up to two weeks after the class ends.
• Sewing Machine: Make sure it’s in good working condition! We do have a few extras you can use. They are available on a first come first serve basis, however we do encourage you to use your own. We will not have time to troubleshoot machines that are not working and may request that you use ours to keep up with the class.
You must be ready to cut + sew at 6pm on the first class!
Extras to Note:
• If you’re new to sewing, consider visiting the store to see the sample on display. It will give you an idea of what you’ll be creating.
Full Payment of class fees due at time of registration to guarantee a place in the class. In person registration is also available.
Cancellation Policy
Registrations can be canceled up to 48 hours after booking a class for a full refund.
Cancellations made after 48 hours are eligible for a credit or transfer to another class. Cancellations made within 1 week of the class do not qualify for credit or transfer.
NO EXCEPTIONS! We understand that life happens, people get sick, plans change, however due to time and resources that go into preparing for each class, and in order for us to maintain a viable business, we kindly ask for your understanding regarding our cancelation policy.
Minimum number of students is usually four, maximums vary by class. Good Decade reserves the right to cancel 48 hours prior to any class if participation level is below minimum. We will issue a full refund for any class we cancel.

Our products are either made to order (current turnaround: 2–3 weeks) or listed as in stock and ready to ship within 1–3 business days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation once your order has shipped.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Good Decade is not responsible for delays due to customs.
Returns & exchanges
Good Decade does not accept returns. Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt, provided the item is in new, unwashed condition with its original tag attached, free of odour and stains.
To initiate an exchange, email us at gooddecadehomegoods@gmail.com. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend tracked and insured shipping — lost return packages are not our responsibility.
Final sale items (sale items, custom orders) are not eligible for exchange. No exceptions.
Order cancellations
Cancellations are accepted within 30 minutes of placing your order. After that window, your order is already in processing and cannot be cancelled. Most of our products begin production immediately after an order is placed.
Damaged items
We stand behind our work. If your item arrives damaged or has a workmanship defect, please email gooddecadehomegoods@gmail.com with a photo of the packaging and contents within 3 days of receiving your order. We'll make it right.
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Note: because items are hand-cut and sewn, occasional loose threads are normal and not a defect , they simply need to be trimmed.

We ship to the exact address provided at checkout. If your address needs to be updated, your order must be cancelled and re-placed, there are no exceptions. Good Decade is not responsible for packages sent to incorrect or outdated addresses.
If a package is undeliverable due to an incorrect address, we will not reship without an additional shipping payment.

Good Decade is not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered by the postal carrier. Please check with your neighbours or contact Canada Post / your carrier directly.

wash cold, tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry. with laundering, our quilts gain texture and comfiness. do not iron minky items.
crib sheets
wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low. cotton items can be ironed on low. to prevent possible suffocation or entanglement, never use crib sheet unless it fits securely on crib mattress.
holiday pajamas
wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low or hang to dry. pajamas should fit snug.
swaddle blankets
machine wash cool water using mild, phosphate free detergent to minimize fading. item is not preshrunk. air dry to minimize shrinking.
