Lichen Duster - Sew Liberated
The versatile Lichen Duster can be worn as a lightweight coat, wrap dress, or robe - a true capsule wardrobe workhorse! Its shawl collar, princess seams, unique pockets, four skirt gores and hand-stitched facings make it a beautiful heirloom piece. Style it over dresses and jumpsuits, or jeans and tees. Use your own belt or wrap the included fabric belt around your waist, tucking in the ends, for a chic morning-to-evening dress. The Lichen can be made with a sweeping high-low hem or a straight hem. Depending on the fabric you choose, the Lichen Duster can be worn in cold or warm weather. It is unlined, constructed with front and back facings of the same fabric.
We recommend mid-weight linen or yarn-dyed cotton for all-season wear. More advanced sewists can branch out and choose mid-weight wool or even silk or silk velvet. The pattern includes sizes 0-30. Level: Intermediate (If someone has sewn our Hinterland Dress, they should be equipped to sew the Lichen. The pattern helps sewists practice many skills, including shawl collar construction, princess seams, French seams, facings, and hand finishing. And we have a detailed Sew-Along to help your customers along!)
Each pattern features an instruction booklet and pattern pieces printed on tissue, enclosed in a lightweight, full-color cardboard box (9" x 6" x 1/2" thick.)

Returns & exchanges
Good Decade does not accept returns. Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt, provided the item is in new, unwashed condition with its original tag attached, free of odour and stains.
To initiate an exchange, email us at gooddecadehomegoods@gmail.com. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend tracked and insured shipping — lost return packages are not our responsibility.
Final sale items (sale items, custom orders) are not eligible for exchange. No exceptions.

Cancellations are accepted within 30 minutes of placing your order. After that window, your order is already in processing and cannot be cancelled. Most of our products begin production immediately after an order is placed.
Damaged items
We stand behind our work. If your item arrives damaged or has a workmanship defect, please email gooddecadehomegoods@gmail.com with a photo of the packaging and contents within 3 days of receiving your order. We'll make it right.
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Note: because items are hand-cut and sewn, occasional loose threads are normal and not a defect , they simply need to be trimmed.

wash cold, tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry. with laundering, our quilts gain texture and comfiness. do not iron minky items.
crib sheets
wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low. cotton items can be ironed on low. to prevent possible suffocation or entanglement, never use crib sheet unless it fits securely on crib mattress.
holiday pajamas
wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low or hang to dry. pajamas should fit snug.
swaddle blankets
machine wash cool water using mild, phosphate free detergent to minimize fading. item is not preshrunk. air dry to minimize shrinking.
