Infit Top & Dress Pattern - Sewing Therapy
When beginning your sewing journey, inevitably there are garments that become designated indoor outfits (“infits”) rather than the stylish outfit you envisioned wearing out. I designed this pattern, hoping to create a successful ‘infit’ that evolves into a fantastic ‘outfit’.
Drafted with the novice sewist in mind, this pattern has stripped away complexities such as inseam pockets, neck closures, sleeve cuffs, and side slits, so you can concentrate on mastering the essentials. This pattern still includes vital garment sewing skills like neck facing, patch pockets, and elastic sleeves, allowing you the opportunity to increase the depth and proficiency of your sewing repertoire.
For those with intermediate or advanced sewing skills, INFIT is a canvas awaiting your artistic touch. Modify and personalize it according to your preferences, unleashing your creativity to shape each piece into a unique reflection of your style.
INFIT’s distinctive charm lies in the oversized bodice and sleeves, coupled with sleeve wings. I came up with the sleeve wing piece to make the process of sewing the rectangular adjustable sleeves easier. The triangle addition adds angles to the underarm, making the process smoother while enhancing the overall aesthetic. Incorporating sleeve wings with a contrasting fabric further contributes to the INFIT’s unique appearance, elevating it beyond the basic garment.

The selection of fabric for your Infit Dress is contingent upon the desired characteristics and style of the garment. While I present various fabric options, I advise against overly structured fabrics for this oversized design, as it may create an immoderately bulky appearance.

PREPARATION
Pre-wash and dry all your fabrics as this will prevent your garment from shrinking. We recommend you read the instructions thoroughly before sewing.
PATTERN PRINTING (At Home (A4/Letter) / Copy Shop (A0) / Projector)
At Home (A4/Letter) :
When it comes to printing the pattern at home, we offer two versions. The first is a standard version that is 35 pages and includes all pattern pieces. The second option is 21 pages, saving you paper and ink. This option provides sleeve measurements rather than a pattern piece and omits the dress length, leaving it up to your preferred measurement. Select the option that works best for you.
The files are organized in layers, allowing you to select and print y our specific size when needed. For your convenience, layer options for each size are included in the pattern. Please ensure that your printer settings are adjusted to a scale of 100% or set to ‘Actual Size’ for accurate printing.
A0 (Copy Shop) Option / Projector Option
We offer both A0 (Copy Shop) and Projector options. You can find the files in their respective folders. For your convenience, layer options for each size are included in the pattern.

Returns & exchanges
Good Decade does not accept returns. Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt, provided the item is in new, unwashed condition with its original tag attached, free of odour and stains.
To initiate an exchange, email us at gooddecadehomegoods@gmail.com. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend tracked and insured shipping — lost return packages are not our responsibility.
Final sale items (sale items, custom orders) are not eligible for exchange. No exceptions.

Cancellations are accepted within 30 minutes of placing your order. After that window, your order is already in processing and cannot be cancelled. Most of our products begin production immediately after an order is placed.
Damaged items
We stand behind our work. If your item arrives damaged or has a workmanship defect, please email gooddecadehomegoods@gmail.com with a photo of the packaging and contents within 3 days of receiving your order. We'll make it right.
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Note: because items are hand-cut and sewn, occasional loose threads are normal and not a defect , they simply need to be trimmed.

We ship to the exact address provided at checkout. If your address needs to be updated, your order must be cancelled and re-placed, there are no exceptions. Good Decade is not responsible for packages sent to incorrect or outdated addresses.

crib sheets
wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low. cotton items can be ironed on low. to prevent possible suffocation or entanglement, never use crib sheet unless it fits securely on crib mattress.
holiday pajamas
wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low or hang to dry. pajamas should fit snug.
swaddle blankets
machine wash cool water using mild, phosphate free detergent to minimize fading. item is not preshrunk. air dry to minimize shrinking.
